ANJA RADOVIĆ

A designer and an artist, focusing on contemporary studio ceramic practice, working on small scale handmade ceramic decorative objects and functional products. An enthusiastic observer of interactions we all have with different everyday objects and ways how we are handling them. Playing with the historical aspect of an object's form, but always adding a bit of awkwardness to each product. In love in the way how clay mirrors the coordination between hand and the mind which are so closely connected.

Working directly with the material the shapes and forms can be adapted while being made. The main quality of hand making unique ceramic is that each piece can be separately treated and dealt with, no piece is made the same. Using and further developing the skills learned while working with the material with more than a decade of experience. Always in search of finding new approaches to work with clay and also other materials.

Working with different stoneware clay and porcelain materials and techniques, glazes, under-glazes and on-glazes, high gloss, matte or satin finishes to make high-quality handcrafted products. Hand-building techniques are pressing on and in molds with a combination of slab rolling, coiling and pinching on a slow ceramic wheel to build different unique ceramic objects.

Products are flexible to the ideas and needs of the user and space. Every object is handcrafted and available in different sizes and colors.
